One of the darkest days in modern Slovak history. The murder of a young investigative journalist and his fiancée kicked off a series of anti-government protests in Slovakia, aimed at ousting the corrupt regime and not letting this horrendous act go unnoticed. Every murder is terrible, but the murder of an investigative journalist who was delving into various corruption scandals of the then-government is an attempt to steal freedom from us all. These are my snaps from the protests in the city of Poprad. Peaceful, yet powerful protest vibes.
